Systems Architect

Architectural design responsibility for the complete electric and mechanical systems platform. Interfaces with all engineering groups and is a key member of the IP development team. Must have working knowledge of batteries, energy storage systems, electric machines (motors), power electronics and posses great leadership skills. Position reports to VP of Engineering

Software Architect

Architectural and principle designer for the complete software systems platform. Interfaces with all engineering groups and is a key member of the IP development team. Design, and lead the software development for next generation electric vehicle.  System includes: 1) distributed embedded microcomputers to control and communicate with all components of the powertrain. Additional design and development of interfaces for on board driver control, infotainment, technician support interfaces which send data over WAN;  2) server back end to receive, analyze, and store data from hundreds of vehicles in the field; 3) front end to remotely interact with data and monitor vehicles in the field. Great leadership skills required. Position reports to VP of Engineering

Senior Software Engineer

Software Validation Engineer

Work on a small team to develop a state of the art, distributed control system for a next generation electric vehicle.  Validate control and communication software and hardware.  Design and build software testbenches for embedded programs.  Help debug and write embedded code.

 

Qualifications:

•B.S. + 2-5 years experience, or M.S. in EE or CS

Power Systems Architect

Architectural design and principle designer of power electronics hardware and gate driver circuitry in addition to low-power circuit design.  Power systems include low voltage to several kW power converters and interfaces with all engineering groups. This person is a key member of the IP development team and great leadership skills are required.  Position reports to VP of Engineering


Qualifications

  3. •PCB layout, including high power heavy pour traces and magnetics design

  7. •Knowledge of CoolMOS, SiC diodes, IGBTs

  8. •Knowledge of soft switching methodologies, including ZVS, phase shift, ZCS

Senior Systems Engineer

Lead design, construction and implementation of various testbenches for next generation electric vehicle.  Work across engineering groups to facilitate system-level test and validation.  Identify testbench requirements, order parts, and built it!

 

Qualifications:

•B.S. + 2-5 years experience, or M.S. in EE or ME

Thermal Systems Architect

Architectural design and principle designer of all cooling and heating systems for the powertrain and vehicle. Includes cooling systems for large scale energy storage systems, hi-power electronics, electric machines, embedded microcomputers/control modules and vehicle cabin systems. This person is a key member of the IP development team and great leadership skills are required. Position reports to VP of Engineering

Controls Architect

Architectural design and principle designer to implement optimal control algorithms for all aspects of the powertrain system which includes energy storage modules, systems control modules, and electric machines.  Knowledge of Permanent Magnet and Switch/Variable Reluctance machines is required. This person is a key member of the IP development team and great leadership skills are required.  Position reports to VP of Engineering

Controls Engineer

Work as part of a small, interdisciplinary engineering team to design and implement control algorithms for an electric machine in a next generation electric vehicle.  Develop models of electric machines for control design and simulation, perform system identification, and implement optimal control algorithms.

•M.S. or Ph.D. with focus in Controls

Skills:

•Experience developing prototype systems or testbenches

•Experience in electromechanical systems

•Familiarity with electric machine test and characterization

Principle person responsible for the developing the quality assurance programs at Adura EV. Work across engineering groups to facilitate system-level test and validation and quality metrics both internally and with suppliers.  Set up Q/A metrics for volume suppliers. Identify testbench requirements, Q/A system and build it! Position reports to VP of Engineering

 

Qualifications:
